Friends of the North Fork regularly hold clean up days where volunteers come out to help clean up a spot on the Shenandoah. Every little bit helps!
We have been known to remove almost entire rooms of furniture from the river banks as well as old tires, construction waste and items that could’ve been recycled!!!

Our March 21st & April 4th, 2009 clean ups
were a HUGE success! Almost a ton of trash was removed from the riverside.Thanks for all your help!
